Top countries with the largest gold reserve

As of my last update, the countries with the largest gold reserves in the world were the United States, Germany, Italy, and France, in that order. The United States has historically held the largest gold reserves among countries.

According to the most recent rankings from the World Gold Council as of March 2024, the top 20 countries with the largest gold reserves are as follows
